OPEN POSITIONS

Service Technician –
Orlando, FL; Jacksonville, FL, Tampa/St Pete, FL

 

This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment.

  • Troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.

  • Communicates with office to order parts for repairs.

  • Communicates with customer and office regarding status of repairs.

  • Completes service tickets according to procedures.

  • Monitors truck stock to insure required parts are stocked on vehicle.

  • Maintains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms

  • Meets reasonable on-call requirements.

Requirements

  • High school graduate/GED or the equivalent in experience

  • Three (3) years maintenance experience to include repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment. Strong HVAC experience is a plus.

  • Good driving record.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Dependability.

  • Accurately and promptly completes required paperwork.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Stable work history

Working / Environmental Conditions:

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds;

      and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.

  • Repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.

  • Extensive daily travel to work site location.

  • Exposure to hot grease from fryers.

  • On-call weekend rotation (frequency varies with branch size).

  • Occasional to frequent exertion in high temperature environment (over heated kitchens, rooftops, etc.).

Mechanical Installer –

Jacksonville, FL, Tampa/St Pete, FL

 

  • Proficient at accepting delivery, assembling, loading, unloading and installing food service (kitchen) equipment with minimal supervision of Project Lead or Mechanical Manager.

  • Proficient at installation of duct work and hanging hoods within code with minimal supervision of Project Lead or Mechanical Manager.

  • Proficient at assembly and building of walk-in coolers within code with minimal supervision of Project Lead or Mechanical Manager.

  • Weld duct work

  • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including but not limited to lifting, climbing, etc. Report any unsafe conditions to the manager immediately.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of refrigerants and operating knowledge of refrigerant recovery equipment and vacuum pump required.

  • Operating knowledge of gauges

  • Operating knowledge of high lifts

  • Knowledge of electrical control systems

  • Knowledge of HVAC/R systems

  • Intermediate mechanical skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints,  diagrams, schematics and written reference material and perform installations according to plans and codes.

  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations

  • Ability to use hand and power tools and specialized HVAC tools.

 

Working / Environmental Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the associate may regularly be required to do manual tasks which include the use of hands to finger and hand controls. Tasks may also require the ability to talk or hear. The associate may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Other abilities include possessing the capacity to learn, concentrate, think and read. Oftentimes the associate will be communicating and interacting with others while working. While performing the duties of this job, the associate may work indoors; work area may not be environmentally controlled, possibly very hot or cold conditions. Some areas may have exposure to contaminant and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. There may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light to heavy items, etc. May work on a ladder, mezzanine, or etc. May work in cramped areas or involve awkward positions; may climb over and around material and equipment. Associate (s) may be required to wear personal protective equipment in accordance with regulatory agencies. 


You Must Have: 1 year experience and/or training in the mechanical field. High School Diploma/GED required.

Layout, Fabricator and Welder –

Jacksonville, FL, Tampa/St Pete, FL

 

  • Set up and operate Conventional Machines such as sheer, brake, press, drill press and various measuring devices to fabricate design layouts.

  • Apply knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials, and layout techniques..

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, manuals and specifications.

  • Ability to measure, mark and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining.

  • Able to align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on Conventional Machines.

  • Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly, using jigs, fixtures, surface plate, surface table, hand tools, and power tools.

  • Verify dimensions and alignment of assembly.

  • Develop specifications from general description and draw sketch of part of product to be fabricated.

  • Uses measuring devices to verify dimensions are within the tolerances specified.

  • Methodizes work in order to produce parts, products and assemblies to drawing requirements.

  • Tig weld Stainless Steel, sheet metal and structural.

  • Able to fabricate from scratch using manual tool. (band saw, hand grinder, plasma).

  • Able to build without print or drawing. (The position requires the ability to make his or her own sketch and measure out the material need for the job).

  • Self motivated and can work with little supervision.

  • Regular attendance and punctuality

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Hands on installation of refrigeration equipment, HVAC units, duct work, food service equipment, hood systems and shelving.

  • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including but not limited to lifting, climbing, etc. Report any unsafe conditions to the manager immediately.

 

Requirements

  • Technical or Trade Training

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Level 2 Background Check

  • Clean Drug Screen

  • Basic mechanical skills.

  • Able to use a Brake Press and Sheer to make parts and products.

  • Tig Welding-stainless steel (food grade)

  • General shop Skills

Working / Environmental Conditions:

Continual walking, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and very heavy lifting and carrying. Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions, outside and inside. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Travel when necessary
